Black Thursday is the story of Phillip Broadwood, a young London stockbroker who loses all his money in the stock market crash of 1929. On the day of the crash his mentor at the brokerage disappears, along with any explanation of where their money has gone or how it was lost.
Desperate to regain his wealth and his friend, and fearing poverty for his wife and child, he embarks on a quest through the darkest corners of London, picking up clues and learning the occult secrets of his mentor’s past.
Broadwood is drawn into ever darker and stranger territory until he finally tracks down his mentor. But can he navigate the lost corridors back to reality, can he disentangle himself from the events he has witnessed, can he recover his money—
